Wired or wireless optical sensor

The GaraGlide is available with either a wired or wireless optical sensor, to recognise when
there is an obstruction in the door curtain’s downward path and safely stop the door.

Wired optical sensor
A wired optical-sensor is fitted
into the floor seal for added
safety. In the event of an
obstruction to the door curtain
coming down, the light beam
from the optical sensor is broken,
and the door will stop and
reverse.

Wireless optical sensor

A wireless optical sensor is also
available, without the spiral
cable. The optical sensor is fitted
into the floor seal, and when the
light beam is broken, the door
will stop and reverse. Batteries
are required for this device.
